Nutritional Counseling

What is Nutritional Counseling?
Nutrition counseling at Center for Health & Healing is performed by Dr. Dady, a Clinical Nutritionist and is a process to educate and support you to make changes in your behaviors and eating habits that promote health and prevent chronic illness, focusing primarily on your food choices. Through a comprehensive physical exam, she is able to assess various nutritional deficiencies and identify which organ systems are most stressed from a nutritional standpoint.

Your health and well-being is about more than just the foods you eat, but also why you eat them. Dr. Dady will address the motivating factors in your life that drive your eating patterns. She looks at your behaviors and relationships with food, your daily schedule, and your dietary needs in order to reach your goals. Nutrition counseling also allows you to have your questions about food answered and builds your knowledge so you have the skills to be healthy for a lifetime. These sessions can take the difficulty, time and confusion out of being healthy and put you on the fast track toward better health.

This highly individualized process determines what affects your personal food choices. During our visits we will work together to create strategies to reach your individualized goals and meet your lifestyle needs.
